Susan Lenz, Fiber Artist!

What a pleasure to meet Susan Lenz while in North Carolina. We collaborated on a Decision Series portrait of me via e-mail. What an incredible experience to see it in person and also see and touch her grave rubbing series quilts. We talked and talked while sharing enjoying our love for fiber, and then went to see a wonderful art show. Susan had two pieces in the show and what a great day enjoying the show with her. I wish we had had much more time together! We will another time. Susan is so knowledgeable and talented and was a great source of inspiration to me.

Hi!
Thanks so very, very much for sharing our time together. I sincerely hope that we have more afternoons together....stitching and talking about art and life.
Susan
PS
I posted two photos yesterday from the art and comedy event benefiting Ovarian Cancer Research. Being part of this charity evening was ever so meaningful because of our shared experiences creating the Decision Portrait. I thought of you constantly during the art sale.

I feel the same way that you do...she is an inspiration! I'd say that even if she wasn't my sister! She is so generous and sharing. Yes, it is quite spectacular to actually see all the pieces in real life. And to touch them.
