What I am working on

I love Batiks and had fun making this Charm Tote. This was fun and easy and about as traditional as I plan to get in my "quilting."
This is my landscape quilt in progress. I am practicing my free motion quilting and improving by practicing. I have learned a great deal by designing and working on this quilt. I have a long way to go, but thought I would share at this point.
I thought I would share my VERY MESSY studio and let my friends know it does become a disaster area! I have about four projects in the works. I am working on my samples for my Textured Surfaces and that has been a great learning experience.
Here is my first painted textured surface. I am having fun with the Golden Acrylics. There will be more to come soon!

Your landscape looks fabulous as does the rest of your work.

Your studio looks like a busy one. I usually tidy up after each project - however I am often working on project after project which means it doesn't get tidied up for quite a while.

Hi dear Linda!
Love your landscape quilt. Just love your studio too. Gee someone else who gets in a mess. It's not possible to be tidy during the creative process is it? It's fun tidying up at the end though. Sort of clears the way for the next thing. Sweltering away here in South Australia!!114 degrees F. the other day. All over 100 for past week. Cheers.

Don't you just love the Golden Acrylics?!! I discovered them in Lynda & Carol's Textured Surfaces Class & it opened a new world to me.
(love the tote too, one can never have to many hand bags!)
