When I recently went to California for a visit, I was able to spend some time with my granddaughter Clara, and her Janome sewing machine we gave to her for a birthday present. She is a Natural! She is making doll clothes for her American Doll and working on a small quilt. With some more guidance she will catch up with her Mammie!

I love to see children sewing. I think I should make a scrapbook of children sewing pics. I try to teach children whenever I have the chance. If we don't , no one will.
Clara is so pretty and looks like she is having fun.
Don't cha just love these kids????? Great work! I must teach my granddaughter to sew for her American Girl....$$$$$$.
